Rustic Shamrock Schmear - March 6

Let's spread the luck of the Irish with some old world inspired wall art!

Do you like the look of weathered, aged, or chippy pieces of seasonal decor than this class is for you.

Here at Rustic Journeys we have our own unique twist called the “Schmear” and we can create some pretty rustic looking pieces.

First, let's start with a specially created wooden shamrocks made to mimic "barnwood" character including holes - crafted exclusively for our area by Signopoly. After staining your larger 17" and two 7" shamrocks, you will schmear using a mixture of Dixie Belle's textured Sea Spray combined with a variety of paint colors selected by you. All wood signs and cut outs are created just for us and fully sanded ready to paint. The wood that is used is 1/2" cabinet grade Birch wood from our friends at Signopoly. 

COST: $35 this includes all supplies and materials needed

We paint with easy to use, eco-friendly, no VOCs chalk mineral paints and water-based stains from the ever so popular Dixie Belle Paint Company.  Please wear clothing you are comfortable working in considering we are using paint. We do provide aprons!
