RJ Kids Summer Week C July 19-22

Rustic Journeys is back with our popular Kids Club Summer Workshops aka "summer camp sessions".

Students MUST have taken A & B weeks or prior Level 1 & 2 last summer, or any other classes at Rustic Journeys

🎨WHO: children ages 9 - 15 (going into the third grade at minimum) that have an attention for detail and the ability to work independently when needed.

🎨WHAT: Fun creative 4 "camp like" workshops

🎨WHEN: Monday - Thursday mornings 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

🎨WHERE: Rustic Journeys Studio area inside the store.

🎨HOW: We are starting small with 12 children as social distancing and safety is our priority along with our kiddos having fun. 🎨COST: $145 this includes all supplies and materials needed to complete daily projects for all 4 days.

This is a totally BRAND NEW opportunity for our advanced kiddos who are creative and would enjoy learning how to use many of the Bells and Whsitles of the Dixie Belle product line. Due to the cost of these produts and projects there is a slight increase for this camp. Trust me... it is very similar to what we provide for adults in what we call a Dixie Belle Boot Camp.

Monday - Patina Day!

Create weathered rusty looking or an oxidized metal look to vintage 18" truck wood cutouts.

Choice of trucks include one with a bed full of flowers or rails with a dog in the back. We will paint all other accents. Only the truck itself will have patina.

Tuesday - Crackle Day!

Learn the process of crackling and layering paint to create some pretty cool Caribbean Fish. Multiple colors will show through and create a unique look on each fish.

Wednesday - Transfer Day!

Faux Windows will be painted and then adorned with floral or nautical transfers. A variety of sunflowers, tropicals, and such are available to customize.

Thursday - Silkscreen Day!

Be the first few to use Silkscreen Stencils created by Rustic Journeys! You will have a variety of sizes with 3 wooden blocks to stencil and create. (Photos coming soon to our Facebook page).

Parents this is for kiddos only and we allow them to express their creativity. We ask that you allow them the opportunity to create without your assistance. We hope you understand. You are more than welcome to wait in our showroom. However, many parents drop off, run errands, and then pick up. Daily sign in/out is required.
