Porch Leaner or Home Interchangeable Sign 4/11

Let's have some fun creating whimsical and welcoming rustic wood decor.

When registering, you will make a selection of either:  

 - a 4ft Porch Leaner, or

 - a Welcome Home sign with 5 interchangeable wood shapes

We provide all materials & supplies - all you do is show up and create!

Class will begin with staining your board. Then you will stencil. 

We use Dixie Belle gel-stains (your choice of colors: Black Magic, White Magic, Denim, Tobacco Road, Up In Smoke Grey, Temptress, or Bayou Moss Green) for your background and then any combination of 69+ stunning chalk mineral paints for your stenciling/painting color(s).

 Deck your front porch with a fantastic 4-foot wood sign created by YOU.

Choose a extra large vertical stencil and matching 4 ft sanded pine wood board provided by Rustic Journeys and you will learn how to not only stencil but how to stain your very own wood sign.

(All stencils are based upon availability - *only 1 stencil is available for this style)

Those doing the Welcome Home sign - without the "O" will stain and stencil a  12" x  20" sanded birch board. Then choose 5 cute wooden pics (approx. 4"-5" in size) and paint them with our amazing Dixie Belle Paints.  Only 1 - 2 additional wood pieces can be painted during class as time permits for $5 each.  It may be difficult to decide as we have over 70 different wood shapes to choose from!

These are THE ultimate make and take project that is super on trend right now. Make one for yourself or as a gift.  

Register and pay in advance to secure your spot. 

You may register here online, over the phone, or in person at least 3 days before the class. You must have a paid registration with the project of your choice selected. If you decide you want to change your project for a different one at class time - we may not be able to accommodate as there are a limited number of each style; however, we will do our best. 

Class registration close 3 days prior to any class so we may prepare your items and arrange our staff appropriately.

Please wear clothing you are comfortable working in considering we are using paints and stains. We will provide gloves if desired and aprons!

Please know that we do not use plywood or pallet wood for our classes and all wood for our signs contain character which may include grain and knots. 

Does the stain have an odor?

Voo-Doo Gel Stain and is a water-based gel stain which is eco-friendly and has no VOC's or odors.

Am I able to paint more than one during a single class session? 

One project will take the entire time. So we suggest you sign up for another class.

Due to the limited number of wooden cut outs, we are unable to sell blanks for you to purchase at a reduced rate.

Snacks and beverages are allowed and encouraged! 

We just as that you drink responsibly ;-)
