Take & Make DIY Paint Project Kits supporting Keeth Elementary's Spirit Event

What a fantastic idea to help one of our local schools and a local business at the same time.

Rustic Journeys has pulled together a variety of project kits for students of all ages.

All kits come packaged with the necessary supplies needed to complete the project with predetermined paint colors, brush, and wooden cut out(s). 

All paints are non-toxic and eco-friendly Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paints which are also water-based and easy to use. If you leave your paint pod open, the paint can dry out. If it is a little thick, simply add a drop of water and stir.  Paint brushes can be washed out and reused. All wooden cut outs are made of birch and have been sanded - ready to paint! For the safety of your children, your pets, and your belongings, glue is not included for the projects which need some minimal assembly and are indicated below. 

We hope you enjoy the holiday break and the kiddos have some fun creative time! 

Paw Print Kit - $5 each

Each paw print kit contains 2 wooden pieces to create the raised paw effect.  Approx. 3-4 inches in size.

This kit comes with school colors of purple and yellow.  Glue is not included for everyone's safety.

Wood Icon Kits- $7.50 each set contains 3 shapes

Each kit contains three 4" - 5" shapes made of thinner birch wood.

  • Pets - cat, dog, bone -  Paint colors: black, brown, white
  • Fairytale - 2 unicorn, frog, tiara. Paint colors: green, lavender, pink, white
  • Beach - sand castle, mermaid, conch shell. Paint colors: teal, red, apricot, white, teal

Log Cabin Birdhouse Kits - $15

  • Log Cabin Birdhouse Kit - Approx. 7" tall by 7" long. No assembly required. Paint colors: brown, green, red, white, & black.

Wooden Cutout Shape Kits- $25 

Each quality wooden cutout has been fully sanded and is a 1/2" thick. Engraved grooves help guide your child much like a coloring book. You select your own 4 paint colors! Add a picture hanger or twine and you can hand your art work anywhere.

When completing your order, you will be directed to select your pick up date. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for us to prepare your kit(s) for pick up. Kits are generally pulled together and paint poured within this 24 hour period.

Rustic Journeys is located in the Winter Springs Town Center at the corner of Tuscawilla RD and SR 434 - near Huey Magoos and Tijuana Flats.  Our address is 1192 E State Road 434 - Winter Springs, FL 32708

Our store hours of operation are: Monday - Saturday 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday 11 am - 4 pm.
